RVS claims that remanufactured vehicles offer the same lifetime and operational capacity as a new vehicle but without the price tag. RVSs recent customers include Equinox Recycling, which took delivery of a rear end loader, and London Waste Solutions, which purchased a remanufactured vehicle to trial food waste collections.

Spencer Law, managing director of Refuse Vehicle Solutions, said: We keep a rolling stock of around 30 vehicles, but if we dont have what a customer wants we go out and find it. In most cases we can beat manufacturers lead times, which is important for smaller operators who need vehicles quickly to respond to customer demand.
