The partnerships’ first vehicle, the e-One, will be launched at an invitation only event at RVS Head Office in Gloucestershire on 30 September.
The e-One, a 26ft Dennis Eager Olympus, will be shown to local authorities and vehicle operators at the event and subsequently used for for demonstration purposes.
RVS confirmed that the used vehicle is a 2016 Euro 6, which was “retrofitted with EMOSS and fully refurbished”.
The Dursley-based company added that the e-One will “eliminate local emissions and be more environmentally sustainable”.
Once converted, the company said that the vehicle will be cheaper to run when compared with diesel-run refuse vehicles.

We are experts in remanufacturing and refurbishment, as well as supplying and maintaining all makes and models of refuse vehicles, so this is the obvious next step.”
“We can repower the vehicles when they come in for refurbishment and customers can walk away with what is essentially a brand-new electric vehicle for around half the cost of a comparable vehicle direct from a manufacturer. It doesn’t matter what configuration of vehicle we are presented with we can convert it with an EMOSS electric power train.”
