Ms Bunn, who was formerly with the Wespack compliance scheme, said that her new compliance scheme is currently completing the registration process with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.
Ms Bunn claims that Integra will have a more up-to-date approach than existing schemes which were set up some years ago. “Compliance schemes in the future will have to do a lot more than forward data to the agency. We will be working with environmental consultants and, for example, if we have clients in Oxfordshire we will use a local consultant there on our behalf.”
And, Ms Bunn said that Integra would be willing to collaborate with other schemes. And, she added that the scheme “takes an inclusive approach to producer responsibility and recognises the contribution made by trading floors and consultants, and this is reflected in its breadth of activities.
