On the regional editions, the Old Kent Road and Whitechapel Road have been replaced by local versions and are sponsored by Biffa.
Keith Harper, Biffa's group marketing manager, said: “It's a fantastic idea. Unfortunately, the playing pieces remain the same so there's no refuse vehicles and there's no rules that allow us to levy a charge for waste collections from houses and hotels. Never-the-less, we expect the acquisition of real estate and money will be just as rewarding as collecting waste.”
Mr Harper added that the regional versions now mean that those of us who don't live in London can identify with the places we live and work.
The new board games cover Essex, Nottingham, Cornwall, Oxford, Chester and Manchester.
The first regional editions were published last Autumn and included Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Wales and Yorkshire.
