Nick Temple-Heald, Glendale’s managing director, said that Glendale aims “to harness the company’s technical and scientific capabilities to complement its grounds management contracts with local authorities throughout the UK”.

Strategic
He explained: “The acquisition of EcoSci has been a strategic purchase. Green waste recycling is a natural extension of our work as a market leading supplier of grounds management services. Glendale combined with EcoSci’s capabilities will undoubtedly have a strong presence in the marketplace as local authorities come under increasing pressure to meet strict recycling targets set by the Government.”

Steve Bullock, General Manager of EcoSci said: “Our acquisition by Glendale is a tremendous opportunity for EcoSci and will allow our expertise to reach local authorities on a national level.

“We have been operating for 10 years now and have built up a solid reputation that is product driven, and based on scientific and technical research.”
