Mr Molesworth, who is a former Dennis Eagle chief executive commented: “The current management team has done a fantastic job of installing a platform for growth, particularly with regards to its export business.

Working closely with the senior management team, the company said that the new chairman “will now help the business build on its heritage manufacturing brand status, cement the firm’s position as an iconic steel container producer and further differentiate Egbert Taylor’s products from the growing number of Chinese bins entering the UK market.”
