Straight profits from end of WRAP bin subsidy

Container manufacturer Straight yesterday (January 25) announced an increase in its revenue for 2009, which it claims was boosted by the withdrawal of WRAP from the home composting bin market.

The announcement came as the regional efficiency body Improvement and Efficiency South East (IESE) prepares to launch a new national framework next week to help councils which used to benefit from the WRAP subsidy to producer bins in bulk.
