Eriez Magnetics Europe will be showcasing their diverse range of magnetic separation and metal detection solutions for improved and efficient metal removal on stand 5S06 – T07 at RWM 2015. Eriez’ machinery can handle every kind of material from municipal solid waste, shredded vehicles and waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) to crushed glass, plastic (PET), foundry sand and more.
Some of the key equipment Eriez supplies to the recycling industry include the next generation of Eriez eddy current separators which offer an unparalleled performance on fines separation, overband magnetic separators to remove unwanted and potentially damaging fragments of tramp iron, magnetic drums to efficiently separate ferrous contaminants from the product flow, metal detectors to protect shredders and granulators, and much more. The team will be on hand to advise the most effective solutions for removing metal contamination.
Eriez have recently opened their recycling test centre in their European headquarters in South Wales, enabling customers to determine which combination of equipment is the best fit for their waste processing needs. The centre is equipped with their full range of machinery, including separation, vibratory feeding and metal detection equipment. The centre uses samples provided by the customer to conduct feasibility tests with various equipment combinations, based on a detailed analysis of the customer’s requirements. Performance tests are used to confirm the machinery and settings and make a profitability assessment.
