The waste management company said that the deal was agreed on for an undisclosed sum on 29 November 2024.
Fleetwood ES Holdings is led by James Bale who commented: “We identified Pegasus Waste Management as part of our strategy to acquire added-value operators with strong growth potential.

Pegasus Waste Management was founded in 1996 by John Merrylees who was later joined by Sarah Norris. They have now sold the company to Bale who now holds the title of managing director of Pegasus Waste Management.
It now operates as a hazardous and chemical waste disposal business across the UK and abroad.
It facilitates the waste management of dangerous waste streams in industries including fine chemicals, defence, aerospace and higher education.
Pegasus Waste Management Ltd was advised by Katherine Gilmore of Battens of Bath and accountants Dominic Bourquin from Monahans, and Ian Starfield and Julia Barton of The PI Partnership – all based in Bath. The acquirer, Fleetwood ES Holdings, was advised by Clarke Wilmott, Thompson Jenner and Isca Ventures.
