New Earth to develop gasification project next year

Dorset-based organic waste treatment firm New Earth Solutions is set to move into the energy market next year by installing gasification equipment at its MBT facility at Canford, near Bournemouth.

The firm is set to use waste leftover from the MBT process, which treats 70,000 tonne of waste a year, to power a demonstration gasification facility. The company is able to take the plans forward thanks to the success of its Premier Fund which it set up 12 months ago to allow individuals to invest in New Earth projects.
