Spanish-group Ros Roca Environment, which owns the UK refuse truck producer, will join forces with Terberg Environmental, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Terberg Group based in the Netherlands.
Together they will become Terberg RosRoca Group Limited, a new company which will be headquartered in the UK town of Warwick.
All the companies forming part of each business, including Dennis Eagle and Terberg Matec UK in this country, will either directly or indirectly become subsidiaries of the new firm but will retain their existing trade names.
The company will have a supervisory board structure representing the shareholders, and a management board comprising executives from both companies which will be led by Godfried Terberg as chief executive.
Bin-lifts
Terberg and Ros Roca already have a number of common business activities, with a significant proportion of RCV bodies supplied by the latter business in Europe already fitted with Terberg bin-lifts.
Ros Roca subsidiary HS Fahrzeugabau also distributes Terberg bin-lifts in Germany, while in the Benelux and Poland Terberg is Ros Roca’s distributor.
In a letter signed by Mr Terberg as well as Ramon Roca Enrich of Ros Roca Environment, the new company confirms that the new group of subsidiaries will “continue to operate as before” with all existing services to remain unchanged “for the time being”.
It adds: “This is an exciting time for both companies and we are looking forward to building on our existing business relationships and to deliver outstanding products and services to you for many years to come.”
