Organised by letsrecycle.com, the awards are supported by Defra and the Environment Agency and seek to recognise the achievements made across the whole sector towards sustainable waste management.
Entries are now invited and involve the submission of about 500 words describing the project or activity being entered, with some supporting information. Winners will be presented with one of the prestigious hand-made trophies made from recycled glass in North Wales.
This year's awards ceremony is to take place at a grand luncheon with champagne reception at the Savoy Hotel in London on October 19. All shortlisted entrants – three for each category – will be given places for the awards ceremony.
