SUEZ has a vision: a society with no more waste, where waste materials are reused, recycled or recovered for their energy content.
To that end, we’ve created Energy from Waste (EFW) facilities, where waste that would normally go to landfill is used to create energy, offsetting the need for fossil fuels.
As an EfW Plant Manager, you’ll be in charge of an innovative facility that’s generating power in a greener, more sustainable way.
As Manager of an EfW plant, you’ll play a critical role in its success. You’ll have overall responsibility for its operations, maintenance and workforce, as well as compliance with regulatory standards.
Revenue can be up to £20million. So it’s vital that you’re equipped to manage resources, motivate and direct teams, take decisions, measure performance and develop the business.
Under your leadership, our plant will operate efficiently and produce as much energy as possible.
To join us, you’ll need to have worked as a manager in a similar setting. You’ll have a track record of meeting financial targets and KPIs, plus experience of financial planning, budgeting and capital approval.
You’ll combine all this with a degree, HNC or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Process or Electrical Engineering.
Your knowledge will cover the latest legislation as well as the secret to building and developing teams. With a Health & Safety qualification (ideally NEBOSH), you’ll have the determination and skills to run a successful EfW plant.
With a raft of benefits, family-friendly policies and excellent remuneration packages, there’s never been a better time to join SUEZ, recycling and recovery UK.
We are proud of our fantastic opportunities for personal growth and development as we continue to build and grow our forward thinking company and you could play a key part in our success.
A friendly and supportive place that you will love to work, we believe creativity, clear communication and our drive for excellence are the keys to our success. We also expect our people to be enthusiastic and responsible. If you share our thinking – and have the qualities we’re looking for – you could play a big part in our dedicated team.
