Are you passionate about recycling? Do you have the ability to engage with people and are keen to help deliver new legislative changes relating to waste management within the district?

We are looking for a customer focused, enthusiastic, self-motivated and organised person to join our busy team. Candidates must be passionate about recycling and have experience working within the waste management sector whether within a local authority or commercial setting.

The post-holder will help shape and deliver a range of recycling projects and initiatives, react to legislative changes, contribute to and deliver communication activities, analyse performance data and measure the effectiveness of initiatives delivered.

This is a varied and visible role that involves contact with a range of people, from residents, collection crews, businesses, councillors, and partners.

The successful applicant will be expected to be flexible, demonstrate an eagerness to learn quickly, adapt to business needs, and be able to react to developments at a local and national level.
