We are looking for an energetic, organised and proactive individual to join our vibrant, youthful team in Central London to assist with the delivery of an expanding annual programme of events.
The role will actively assist in the delivery of regular events. Working across our broad portfolio of environmentally focused events the successful candidate will gain first-hand experience of international projects, trade shows, large scale conferences, award ceremonies, small networking events as well as webinars.
Reporting to the Event Manager, the Events Assistant will be responsible for managing and delivering key tasks throughout the event’s life cycle such as dealing with sponsors, suppliers, speakers, delegates, and venues on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:
Liaison with internal and external stakeholders including editorial and design teams, venues, and event suppliers.
Support the Event Manager with programme content creation across the portfolio of events.
Venue sourcing and negotiating for event portfolio.
Reviews and resolve delegates, sponsor, and speaker issues.
Keep all event records updated.
Act as an ambassador to the company and events division in all contact with clients.
Onsite organisation and support.
Post-event organisation and support.
Skills Required:
Strong written and verbal communication.
Planning and time management.
Project/task management.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word.
Confident in the use of Microsoft Excel.
Commerciality/Business Awareness.
Experience in events and or administration support would be preferred.
This is an initial year’s fixed term contract, with an immediate start date and competitive salary.
