Storm
The impact of the storm extends beyond bin collections. There is still a substantial amount of floodwater in the town, causing extensive damage to properties. The council explained that this situation is hindering the safe restoration of electric connections to approximately 150 properties in the area.
Furthermore, the flooding has had an impact on the local community, with many residents forced to evacuate their homes and seek temporary shelter. Consequently, a significant number of people have been displaced from their homes due to the flooding.
