The Pronar 2.1010 recycling shredder has increased the daily processing capacity of its Droylsden wood recycling facility grade A wood from 30-35 tonnes to over 50 tonnes.
Site manager Neil Ogden said: “Wood recycling is highly sustainable and delivers significant environmental and commercial benefits.
“I am incredibly impressed with the Pronar who have played a key role in doubling our wood processing capacity, increasing employee productivity, and reducing costs.”
Ogden visited Pronar’s manufacturing facility in Poland before investing in the shredder.
On-site training for the team was provided by Global Machinery Solutions provided onsite training.

The Droylsden facility sits across 18 acres and up to 500 tonnes of wood waste daily, including grade A (high-quality clean wood) and grade C (lower-quality wood material).
