With two weeks to go until RWM Expo, visitors are counting down to RWM Connect, the resource management sector’s new flagship networking evening, and the first event of its kind to bring the industry together at this scale.

Taking place on 16 September at The Vox Conference Venue, Birmingham, on the evening of day one of RWM Expo, RWM Connect will unite the audiences of two long-running fixtures in the waste and recycling calendar, the ESS Connect Party and the CIWM Gala Dinner.

Organisers are expecting hundreds of professionals from across the waste, recycling, resource and energy management community to attend.

Rob Mowat, Managing Director of RWM Expo, said: “This industry does its best work when it’s in the same room, face-to-face, having real discussions. That’s exactly what RWM Connect is about – one sector together on one night.

“With less than two weeks to go, the anticipation is building, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone in September.”

A first for the sector

Co-hosted with CIWM, the event brings the industry’s two biggest social fixtures together into one inclusive evening, with something for every style of networking. Attendees will move freely between a live band and dance floor, an entertainment zone with casino tables and games, food and drink stations, and a dedicated space for quieter, more traditional conversation.
