Simsmetal chairman Paul Mazoudier commented: “Jeremy Sutcliffe brings to the role valuable hands-on international experience in secondary metals processing and marketing. Importantly, he has also been at the centre of product &#39e;nd of life' recycling developments which are occurring in Europe and which will be inevitably taken up here and in North America.”

Mr Mazoudier also played tribute to Mr Crabb: “John Crabb has been a very successful CEO and we are fortunate that he has created a strong team around him, which is second to none in the industry worldwide.”

The Simsmetal group’s operations span the globe with facilities spread throughout Australasia, the United Kingdom, North America and Asia.
