The repair and rebuild service has been operating as an independent division of the Worcestershire-based company for over ten years, but Taylor has now given it its own branding and logo as “TaylorPlus”.
TaylorPlus provides a range of after-sales services for Taylor customers, including the rebuilding of non-Taylor manufactured containers.

Announcing the new brand, company director Alston Taylor said: “TaylorPlus effectively provides 'f;irst aid for containers' delivering to a refurbished standard hard to differentiate from new.
“TaylorPlus is a very appropriate name for this part of the business. The added value, or 'Plus' services provided to customers keep their containers in operational condition for many years,” he added.
Employing 30, the ISO 14001 accredited rebuild business is based in a 26,000 square foot production facility at Hartlebury, near Kidderminster. The facility includes a 'c;ustomer site' for minor repairs, while the business manages its own fleet of vehicles to collect and return customers' containers.
Russell Randle, general manager, said: “All containers processed through our facility, whether Taylor products or not, get the TaylorPlus treatment. This includes shot blasting, refinishing in any colour coating, the fitting of genuine Taylor fittings wherever possible and the application of liveries when required.”
Tamworth
Over the summer, TaylorPlus has been responsible for delivering 60,000 recycling boxes to residents in the West Midlands borough of Tamworth. The borough is introducing alternate weekly collections of residual waste and green waste along with the blue box weekly recycling service for plastic bottles, paper, glass and cans.
Recycling communications co-ordinator Emily Humpheries said that the introduction of the scheme in June had seen householder participation in recycling increase from 8% to 85% in four months.
