N+P beats LondonEnergy to win 2026 Waste World Cup

The 2026 Waste World Cup was headline sponsored by Smart Solutions, with Vermeer and Greyparrot as event sponsors and WasteAid as the supported charity.

N+P has been crowned champion of the 2026 Waste World Cup, beating LondonEnergy 2-1 in the final. A selection of photos can be found below, with a link to the full picture set at the bottom of the page.

Organised by letsrecycle.com, the six-a-side tournament welcomed mixed-gender teams from across the waste sector to Beaconsfield Rugby Club, Buckinghamshire, on Friday 26 June.

Winners

N+P took the Cup after a 2-1 victory over LondonEnergy in the final, continuing a fierce rivalry between the two sides that has played out across recent tournaments.

Grundon claimed the Vase, beating Thalia 2-0 in the final.

Recorra picked up the Decanter, defeating LEL (LondonEnergy 2) on penalties.

The Plate was won by Biffa Apprentices, who beat Simply the Biffa 2-1.

Iwaste secured the Jug with a 2-1 win over OCO Tech.
