The new arrangement, which comes into effect this month, will see Red Kite Waste providing an expanded recruitment agency service which was previously provided to letsrecycle by letsrecruit.com.

With global coverage and a team of consultants dedicated solely to recruiting in the waste management and recycling sector, Red Kite says that it uses “up to the minute cloud-based technology with traditional, common sense business principles to create a professional recruitment service that is hard to match.”
Rob Mowat, director of letsrecycle.com, said: “We are very pleased that Red Kite will provide recruitment services as a partner to us. Their strength and experience in the recruitment sector and our huge reach in waste and recycling, means that those looking to recruit staff or change jobs will now have the benefit of a top-rate service with a stronger recognition in the sector.”
Positive sector

Dave Nicholson, managing director of Red Kite, said: “We have been working in the waste sector for six years and are delighted to work with letsrecycle.com. We have found a most happy home with waste and recycling and we enjoy working in what we consider a positive sector in terms of the environment. This agreement will take our activities up another level.”
Mr Nicholson explained that Red Kite, a business which he developed with his wife Jenna, had been developed from originally recruiting for sales vacancies to one working across the appointments range. He explained: “Today we provide engineers, sales staff, depot managers, operational staff and senior managers. We handle only permanent positions and have trebled in size over the last year. And, we are starting to develop in new environmental sectors.”
At Red Kite, Andrew Askew leads on the operational side with Mark Etherington in charge of sales recruitment.
