The 25-year-old, who was a Recresco employee, has not been named. He was fatally injured following an incident involving a forklift truck at the firm's glass recycling facility in Cheshire at around 11am.
The HSE has been made aware of this incident and is currently investigating in conjunction with Cheshire constabulary

A statement released by Cheshire Police said: “At 10.50am, Cheshire Police and other emergency services were informed of an industrial incident that had taken place at a business premises on North Road, Ellesmere Port.
“A 25-year-old male employee received fatal injuries when he was involved in an incident with a forklift vehicle on the premises.”
According to the North West Ambulance Service, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cheshire Police added that the deceased's next of kin had been informed and it has liaised with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and HM Coroner.
The HSE confirmed that the company involved was Recresco. A spokesman for the HSE told letsrecycle.com: “The HSE has been made aware of this incident and is currently investigating in conjunction with Cheshire constabulary.”
A statement released by Recresco said: “We would like to extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of the deceased with regard to this tragic accident. The company is currently cooperating with Police and the HSE investigations and will comment further once these have been completed.”
In August 2008, Recresco signed a supply deal worth £100 million with glass manufacturer Quinn Glass to supply recycled glass to Quinn's state-of-the-art glass facility in Ellesmere Port (see letsrecycle.com story).
