Suez begins three-year waste and recycling contract

The partnership kicked off on 1 August 2026 and includes Sky’s flagship locations in Osterley and Livingston.

It also covers the media company’s estate locations across the country, including its headquarters, contact centres, and their Scottish locations in partnership with Enva Scotland.

It builds on an existing contract with Sky Studios Elstree, which has been delivered by Suez subsidiary Cawleys.

The partnership includes a target for a recycling rate of over 60% and an overall 20% reduction in annual waste volumes.

Suez will also initiate reporting practices that give the Sky team insight into how they can increase recycling rates and support its sustainability strategy.

This will include waste compositional and volume analysis to support on-site sorting of mixed recyclables for baling and identifying closed loop and reuse opportunities.
