Non-ferrous expert moves to run vehicle dismantlers association

The British Secondary Metals Association held its final summer meeting today ahead of its merger with the British Metals Federation on July 1.

Held in London, the event saw thanks paid to director Duncan Wemyss who has been involved with the association for 25 years, including the past 10 in the director's post.
From July 1 Mr Wemyss will become full-time secretary of the Motor Vehicle Dismantlers Association (MVDA), based at 33 Market Street, Lichfield, Staffordshire, tel: 015443 254254.

Also from July 1 the two metals trade associations will become the British Metals Recycling Association and will be based at the BMF offices in Brampton, Huntingdonshire.
David Hulse, curently head of the BMF, will become director general of the BMRA.
