“Welcome to Our Future” has been set up as a charitable organisation that aims ultimately to finance itself, although it has two years of initial funding from local authorities in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

The organisation intends to generate income through grant administration, project management and consultancy activities and will also be responsible for managing the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme in the region, the Severn Waste Environmental Fund, which comes through Severn Waste Services.
The new website, which can be found at www.turntheworld.com is working alongside the national 'Re-think Rubbish' campaign and is beginning a five-year waste minimisation awareness campaign in the region.
