Keenan Recycling secures NHS Lanarkshire contract

Keenan Recycling has announced that it has secured a contract to provide food waste collection and recycling services to NHS Lanarkshire – said to be one of Scotland’s largest and most respected healthcare providers.

The provider services a population of 655,000 across rural and urban communities.

Gary Mills, UK sales manager at Keenan Recycling, said: “Successfully bidding for large opportunities like NHS Lanarkshire requires the combined expertise of our entire team.

“I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone involved, from finance and operations to marketing, strategy, and customer service. Your invaluable contributions were instrumental in our success.”

The partnership hopes to see a significant reduction in food waste, cost savings and improved waste management sustainability.

Keenan Recycling has said that the partnership is “a testament to their expertise and commitment to providing exceptional service to their clients”.

A spokesperson added: “We are excited to continue working with NHS Lanarkshire and contribute to their ongoing efforts to improve sustainability and deliver high-quality healthcare.”
