The move forms part of Faun-Zoeller UK’s “strategic plan for the UK market”, aiming to enhance its offering, customer base, technology, and service network.
C.P. Davidson Ltd, established in 1991, and is known for its work in the hire and contract hire segment, particularly for refuse collection vehicles and related services.
The acquisition brings together the two organisations, with the Davidson family having previous involvement with Zoeller since 1998, supplying bodies and lifters to local authorities.
Philip Davidson, managing director of C.P. Davidson & Sons Ltd, will continue in his role and report to Simon Hyde, chief executive of Faun-Zoeller UK. Together, they will “formulate growth plans and activities for both Faun-Zoeller UK and CPD”.
