ESS’ Environment 100 deadline extended until 21 June

The organisers of the Environmental Services and Solutions Expo (ESS) have announced that The Environment 100 application deadline has been extended to Friday 21 June 2024.

Environment 100

New for 2024, The Environment 100 has been created to celebrate UK-wide changemakers, from established figures to unsung heroes within the sustainability and environmental sphere. The scheme aims to recognise those working to improve practises in the sector with new solutions technologies and innovations.

Nominations are accepted across seven categories – Inspiring Green Leader, Net-Zero Champion, Unsung Hero, Emerging Environmentalist, Sustainability Innovator, AI and Tech for Sustainability, and Environmental Advocate.

Nominations are open to anyone and completely free, and nominations close at midnight on Friday 21 June 2024. The winners will be announced on Wednesday 11 September 2024 at ESS Expo 2024 in Birmingham.

35 Under 35

The 35 Under 35 Awards Programme, supported by Grundon, will celebrate young trailblazers in the environment sector. With a focus on industry innovation and those who are giving back to their company or community, this scheme will honour professionals from waste and recycling, water management, energy, construction, and anyone connected to managing sustainability within their organisations. Nominations are free and close on Monday 24 June 2024.

The shortlist and top three will be announced live on Thursday 12 September at ESS Expo 2024.
