Boxmag-Rapid Limited has now changed its name to Antar Equipment Limited and will continue to manufacture Boxmag-Rapid brands for Eriez for the remainder of this year. Antar Equipment Limited will also manufacture their own products to include concrete batching equipment.
The acquisition merges two leading suppliers of magnetic separation equipment and will further strengthen Eriez Magnetics Europe’s strong position in both UK and export markets.
A spokesman for Eriez said that customers of both companies “will benefit in terms of an unrivalled level of technical support and an improved range of equipment.”
John Curwen, formerly Business Manager of Boxmag-Rapid, has joined Eriez Magnetics Europe to ensure continuity of the high level of customer support previously provided by Boxmag.
Located near Cardiff, Eriez Magnetics Europe Ltd has been the European sales, manufacturing, design and test facility for Eriez products since its establishment in 1974. this facility is the UK's largest manufacturer of magnetic separation equipment.
