And, the 2014 ceremony is set to be the biggest yet, with a new award category added.
This year, the new Circular Economy Success award accompanies other categories including Retail Recycling Champion, Collection Crew of the Year, Design of a Waste Management Facility and Recycling Business of the Year.

There is also the chance for one of the first 100 entrants to win a free table of ten at the esteemed awards luncheon and ceremony, which takes place from 12pm-5pm at the prestigious five-star Landmark hotel in London on May 1.

Award-winning journalist and author George Alagiah who currently presents BBC Six Oclock News will host the event. As well as presenting Britains most-watched news programme on the BBC, Mr Alagiah also presents World News Today for the Corporations global channel.

All 11 awards categories are free to enter and submissions must be received before the closing deadline of midday, March 13 2014, before entries are scrutinised by the judging panel.
