Seen as an easy to use electronic unit, it is connected to a remote weighing terminal allowing the user is able to perform weighing operations without operator intervention.
The device reads all weighing and vehicle ID and transmits it via a mobile phone modem to the head office mainframe. Head office can then know exactly what is being weighed and enables them to prevent any unauthorised vehicles on site.
Extremely compact, the Self Box can be mounted at driver height allowing for operation directly from the cab of the vehicle being weighed. It is available in standard badge reading or transponder operated versions on request. Specific functions allow the user to check the number of weighings performed, to print personalised ticket headings, and to perform numerous other control functions.
