The “CrewSense AI” operational behaviour system works with the RCV-manufacturer’s own Olympus body range.
The system detects operators working at the rear of the RCV and automatically responds to non-standard operating actions.

The system is also able to capture data using the company’s Terberg Connect diagnostics tool.
This is intended to assist fleet operators with accurate incident reporting and support fleet reviews.
Demonstrations of the system will be made available over the coming months.
It is currently available across Terberg OmniDEL and OmniDEKA bin lifts.
The new technology was launched at the Resource & Waste Management (RWM) Expo, held from 16-17 September 2026 at the NEC Birmingham.
OmniWeigh weighing system and ORUS 11HD
Dennis Eagle also showcased its OmniWeigh weighing system and the ORUS 11HD compact satellite RCV at the expo.
The system captures the weight of individual bins and waste streams during collections, generating insights into material volumes, resident behaviour, and regional trends.
Able to be integrated with Terberg and Dennis Eagle bin lifts, OmniWeigh can weigh bins 80 times in just 0.5 seconds. Overweight bins can be rejected, while a cumulative weight function prevents overloading.
Terberg Matec UK also showcased its latest compact satellite RCV, the ORUS 11HD.
Developed with Simpler Recycling in mind, ORUS 11HD has a payload of 7,800kg and has a 11m3 watertight, leakproof body.
