RWM Connect 2026 will take place on Wednesday 16 September at The Vox Conference Venue, Birmingham, bringing together an expected audience of 900 industry figures for the sector’s ultimate social and networking event.
Held on the opening evening of RWM – part of the wider Environmental Services & Solutions (ESS) Expo – the event merges two established gatherings, the ESS Connect Party and the CIWM Gala Dinner, into a single, unified format.
The new format reflects the evolving nature of industry networking, creating one central space for professionals from across the sector to connect.
Commenting on the launch, Rob Mowat, Managing Director of the RWM Expo, said: “RWM Connect brings the sector together in a way that reflects how the industry operates today – collaborative, connected and forward-looking.
“It’s about creating the right environment for those conversations to happen.”
A platform for industry-wide engagement
Attendees will include a broad mix of stakeholders, from established leaders and major organisations to emerging voices and innovators.
The first day of RWM consistently draws strong representation from across the waste and recycling industry, including a significant presence from CIWM members, and RWM Connect provides the platform to continue those conversations beyond the exhibition floor.

The evening will offer a flexible environment suited to different engagement styles, with opportunities for high-energy conversations and more traditional networking.
Alongside networking opportunities, the event will feature complimentary drinks and food stations, as well as live entertainment including a band and DJ. Interactive elements such as a casino and games are also planned.

Tickets are priced at £99 + VAT, with a team bundle of 10 tickets available for £900 + VAT. Organisers have advised that spaces are limited and early booking is recommended.
