CARS and MRE event moves to Stoneleigh

Europe’s leading event dedicated to recyclers of scrap metal and end of life vehicles has moved to the NAEC, Stoneleigh, in the West Midlands.

CARS 2016, Donnington Park, Derby, 13th & 14th July 2016

The Complete Auto Recycling Show (CARS), sponsored by software provider Hollander International, and the Metals Recycling Event (MRE), sponsored by equipment specialist Blue Fuchs, will see more than 1,700 attendees come through its gates at the 2018 event.

This year’s event will be held on 11 & 12 July 2018 and is now in its second outing as a combined exhibition.

CARS & MRE is organised by letsrecycle.com in partnership with the British Metals Recycling Association and Vehicle Recycling Association and has been designed by the industry, for the industry.

Visitors will witness equipment working in its intended environment, discover the latest techniques and safety advice in the Skills Lab and have the chance to improve their contacts and discuss new opportunities in the ‘Meet the Buyer Lounge’.

Alongside Jaguar Land Rover-run factory tours, new for 2018 is a ‘Business Doctor’s Surgery’. Visitors can attend one of the various free seminars across the two days or book a one on one, to hear advice and guidance on how to increase profits and grow your business.

Exhibitors

Confirmed exhibitors for 2018 include; Doyle Machinery, Hammel, JMC Recycling Systems and Eriez Europe.

Commenting on the new venue, show director, Rob Mowat said: “We can’t wait for the 2018 edition of CARS & MRE. With the event taking place every other year, there is plenty to talk about and lots for both exhibitors and visitors to catch up on. This year sees the arrival of the two shows at the NAEC in Stoneleigh, which is a fantastic space for the show to grow in, allowing more space for live demonstrations, indoor and outdoor exhibits, and both sector-specific and business focussed seminars’.

On the evening of 11th July, Hollander International Summer Party will take place on site.

Registration for visitors is now open and visitors are encouraged to secure their accommodation early to avoid disappointment.
