The deal will include Doosan’s entire range of crawler, wheeled and mini excavators, as well as articulated dump trucks and wheel loaders.
According to Blue Machinery, the addition of the Doosan brand to its portfolio will allow it to become the “ultimate one stop shop” for customers operating across a wide range of industries.
The Doosan range will go alongside Blue’s existing portfolio of brands including Doppstadt and the three Terex products of Powerscreen, Fuchs and MDS.
‘Excited’
Sean McGeary, sales director at Blue Central said: “We are very excited to introduce the Doosan product range to our supplier portfolio. We recognise the significant market share that Doosan have in the region and feel that the range complements our existing suppliers such as Terex Powerscreen and Doppstadt and helps us complete the product offering to our clients”.
Blue added that the distribution partnership has also led to “significant investment” as it has acquired a second facility in Nantwich, Cheshire, which will act as a dedicated depot for their Doosan equipment and spare parts.
Blue has also expanded its team to “help support” the Doosan brand with the addition of a new operations team and sales representatives.
