Webinar: Overview of the consultation on the Waste Prevention Programme for England

Date 21 April 2021

WEBINAR -1.30-3PM

On the 18 March, Defra released the ‘Consultation on the Waste Prevention Programme for England’.

The consultation is seeking feedback on what stakeholders think the regulatory and industrial priorities should be for managing resources and waste across seven key streams: textiles; construction; furniture; e-goods; road vehicles; packaging; single-use items and plastics; and food.

The consultation is due to close on 10 June 2021. It is open to responses from anyone, not just technical experts, and it is crucial there is a wide range of respondents with an equal representation of views to achieve the best regulatory outcome.

This webinar, run by Ecosurety policy advisor Louisa Goodfellow, will provide an overview of what you need to know about the key objectives and proposals outlined in the consultation, with an opportunity to ask questions at the end.

Who is it for?

This webinar will be essential viewing for any stakeholders involved in the seven streams of textiles, construction, furniture, e-goods, road vehicles, packaging, food, single-use items and plastics.
