Free tickets are now available, with the event expected to attract more than 16,000 professionals from across the environmental and sustainability sectors.
The exhibition brings together seven co-located events covering:
- RWM Expo – Resource and Waste Management
- EFD Expo – Energy, Fuels and Decarbonisation
- CLR Expo – Contamination & Land Remediation
- WWEM Expo – Water, Wastewater and Environmental Management
- AQE Expo – Air Quality and Emissions
- GEO Expo – Geotechnical Engineering and Operations
- CARS & MRE – Complete Auto Recycling and Metals Recycling Events
Commenting on the launch, ESS Expo Managing Director Rob Mowat said: “ESS Expo has grown into something truly unique – there is no other event in the UK that brings together the full breadth of the environmental sector in one place at this scale.”
ESS conference programme announced
The event is set to feature more than 700 exhibitors alongside a programme of conference sessions, policy discussions and networking opportunities.
Confirmed exhibitors include AMP, Bollegraaf UK, FCC Environment, Grundon Waste Management, JCB, Pellenc ST, Recycleye, TOMRA Sorting, Valpak and Ward Recycling among others.
The Environment Agency will return as Lead Partner for the 2026 event, alongside support from organisations including CIWM and the Environmental Services Association (ESA).
The two-day conference programme will feature speakers from government, regulators and industry, with confirmed participants including Toby Perkins MP, chair of the Environmental Audit Committee, Julia Buckley MP, Abby Chicken of Openreach, Judy Procter of the Environment Agency, and Stephen Elderkin of National Highways.
Discussions will focus on key policy areas, including Extended Producer Responsibility for packaging (pEPR), Deposit Return Schemes (DRS), waste crime, food waste, fleet technology, fire safety and batteries, and the circular economy in practice.
What’s new for 2026
Several new features have been announced for the 2026 event.
These include an ESS Expo Careers Fair, designed to connect employers and training providers with students, graduates and professionals seeking opportunities in the environmental sector.
A new Start-up, Scale-up and Investors Network will also be introduced, providing a dedicated space for emerging environmental businesses to showcase technologies and connect with investors.
RWM Connect will return on the evening of the first day of the exhibition, now taking place at The Vox Conference Venue.
Mowat added: “Whether you’re a policymaker, a major operator, an innovator, or a student taking your first steps into the industry, ESS Expo 2026 has something for you.”
The Environment 100 Awards and the 35 Under 35 Awards will both form part of the 2026 programme, recognising established and emerging talent from across the environmental sector.
Nominations for the Environment 100 close on 27 June, while entries for the 35 Under 35 Awards remain open until 3 July.
Further details on the conference programme, speakers and exhibitors are expected to be announced in the coming months.
