Zero Waste Awards 2021 winners announced

The latest winners of the Zero Waste Awards were announced today, with Hackney council, Printwaste and Norton Packaging all winning four star status.

The Zero Waste Awards were set up in 2010 by letsrecycle.com

Set up in 2010 by letsrecycle.com, the Zero Waste scheme has more than 500 members and recognises businesses and organisations committed to increasing the amount of waste they reduce, reuse and recycle. Today, the scheme has also welcomed 23 more organisations.

Entries are broken up into 10 different categories, enabling organisations to benchmark against those in the same sector. These categories are sponsored by key expert partners who are happy to provide free advice and guidance to any business looking to improve their environmental credentials.

The recipients of 2021 Zero Waste Awards will be recognised and given a chance to network with their industry peers at a lunch on the 19 November.

The lunch will be held at Altitude London

The informal luncheon also provides a setting to discover the latest initiatives and innovation designed to minimise, reduce and prevent waste.

It includes a keynote address by CIWM Senior Vice President, Anna Willets and the ceremony is hosted by letsrecycle.com editor, Steve Eminton.

The scheme is supported by a number of partners which are: Bywaters, Powerday, Reconomy and Wastepack.
