Congratulations go to Rod Paterson, commercial manager (sourcing) at DS Smith Recycling, who has won a luxury hamper of Cornish produce supplied by Delicious of Marazion. Mr Paterson made the judges laugh out loud with his caption which alluded to previous comments made by Eric Pickles about an Englishmans right to have the remains of his Chicken Tikka Masala collected every week.
The winning caption read: “Eric I don’t care what you have read elsewhere, but you can only claim for one Chicken Tikka Masala per meal on your expenses.”
Success
Commenting on his success, Mr Paterson said: – “I was very pleased to win this competition which was a total surprise. The Cornish Hamper is an excellent prize and I enjoyed it very much.”
