Waste Recycling relaunches compost product as market doubles

One of the UK's leading green waste composting companies will unveil a new look to its soil improver this week at the IWM conference.

Waste Recycling's bagged soil improving compost sales have doubled since last year, and the company is looking to boost sales further with a new design that will promote the product's key features to the public.

The product, called Nature Mix, has been certified by the Soil Association is now in full production.

The first of the new filled 40 litre bags – specifically produced for home gardening – will be available later this month from recycling centres in Surrey, Kent and Bexley at a price of 2.50. It should also be available at the rest of Waste Recycling's 70 centres later this year.

Nature mix is being promoted as a peat-free, organic compost made from natural recycled materials, which can be used as a soil improver to add organic nutrients, help fight plant disease and improve soil structure.

Waste Recycling also supplies specialist wholesalers with bulk quantities of material which is used in own label bags of peat-free compost.
