This facility receives 30,000 tonnes per annum of green waste and converts this into compost products by an open windrow composting process. The green waste inputs are from civic amenity sites and landscaping contractors.
October 16: Beacon Hill Landfill Site,

Dave Talbot, tel: 01202 577 653. Beacon Hill Landfill receives and processes waste from the surrounding areas in Dorset. The site is operated utilising the latest engineering techniques and a new environmental compound is underway that will lead to further enhancements to reduce the environmental impacts of the site.
