Shanks appoints Goodfellow director of collection, recycling

Commenting on the appointment, Shanks Group chief executive Michael Averill said: “Ian has 27 years of experience in the waste management industry, both within the UK and internationally. I am confident his knowledge, drive and enthusiasm will serve Shanks and its customers well.”

Seen as a popular and hard working managing director at SITA, Mr Goodfellow welcomed his new position at Shanks.

He said: “I am delighted to be joining a company such as Shanks. It's a new role and I am very much looking forward to getting on with it.”
