Demonstrations will be taking place three times a day over the two-day event (22-23 May) at Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry.
The free-to-attend exhibition and conference consists of six sector zones, live demonstrations and networking events.
Companies confirmed for the ‘Trucks in Action Arena’ are Dennis Eagle, Faun Zoeller and Boughton Engineering. Live demonstrations are scheduled to take place at 11.30, 13.30 and 15.30 on both days of the event.
Dennis Eagle
Dennis Eagle will be showcasing its Terberg Kerbloader – developed specifically for kerbside collection of dry recyclables and food waste, segregated at source.
The company will also be demonstrating its Olympus Mini, Olympus Twin Pack and Olympus One Pass refuse collection vehicles.
The Olympus Mini is a single-piece construction to help keep body weight to a minimum, whilst maximising volume, according to Dennis Eagle. Meanwhile, the Twin Pack has two separate body compartments, tailgates and independent operational systems. It is designed to collect two completely different types of waste simultaneously, the company said.
Boughton
Also showing in the Trucks in Action Arena will be Boughton Engineering – designer and manufacturer of hook loaders, skip loaders and close coupled trailers for the waste and resources industry.
The company will be exhibiting its power-reach P18 skip loader with Intacova on a DAF chassis, CM-D hook loader with Kwikcova on an 8×4 Scania XT chassis, and tri-axle close coupled drawbar trailer with Kwikcova.
Faun Zoeller
A third exhibitor, Faun Zoeller, will be demonstrating its 26t Variopress (EVO) RCV on a Mercedes-Benz Econic chassis with rotary 3 lift and clean air system. The company will also show its 32t Frontpress (front end loader) on a Mercedes-Benz AROX chassis and 26t Variopress Trade RCV on a Scania L Cab with Omega Trade Lifter.
According to manufacturer Faun Zoeller, its product range has become an “industry icon”. With versatile refuse collection vehicles, road sweepers and bin lifting devices, the company said it can offer either an “off the peg” or a “tailored” solution to all waste and street cleansing requirements.
Organised by Environment Media Group, Letsrecycle Live is being supported by more than 140 exhibitors and it is expected that around 3,000 visitors will attend the two-day event.
Boasting three conference theatres, two exhibition halls, three live demonstration arenas, a number of public and private meetings and a series of social events, the show looks set to be the waste and recycling networking event of the year.
