The RWM event branding for next year

However, the name of the exhibition RWM in partnership with CIWM is set to remain the same despite expectations from some that it would be simplified.

The namewas first introducedlast year when the Futuresource exhibition run by the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) and Environmental Services Association (ESA) combined with emaps Recycling and Waste Management (RWM) exhibition to form one major event in the waste management industrys calendar.

From next year, the strapline for the event will be Resource Efficiency and Waste Management Solutions(see picture below)which the organisers said illustrated the wider target audience that the event attracts. The current logo merely has the words inform, improve and inspire as its strapline.

The 2012 event will take place from 11 to 13 September 2012 at the NEC in Birmingham, which has always been the location of the RWM event.

Event director Gerry Sherwood said: Following the successful merger with CIWMs Futuresource for 2011, we want to make the 2012 exhibition even bigger and even better.
Were expecting the 2012 event to include several significant new features and even more leading speakers in our seminar theatres. We hope to see even more visitors and exhibitors here next year sharing the latest in resource efficiency and waste management.
