Roar B2B acquires Environment Media Group

The Environment Media Group (EMG), the parent company of Letsrecycle Live and letsrecycle.com, has been sold to the events and media group Roar B2B.

Roar B2B said the acquisition of EMG will allow Roar, which also owns the RWM show, “to further expand its range of well-established live and digital events”.

The deal will bring Roar’s current event RWM into the same portfolio as Letsrecycle, to become the UK No. 1 media partner in the sector underscoring Roar B2B’s commitment to the environment sector.

Rob Mowat, managing director of EMG, will stay with the business heading up the Environment portfolio at Roar B2B.

‘Very exciting’

Commenting on the acquisition, Duncan Kirk, chief executive of Roar B2B, said: “This acquisition represents a very exciting move for our business.
