Refuse Vehicle Solutions Ltd (RVS) has expanded its services by becoming a “key UK dealer” for AJK Skip and Hook Loader systems.

RVS, which is based in Dursley, Gloucestershire and provides new, remanufactured and used waste sector vehicles, says it will now be able to offer AJK products in the UK.

According to RVS, Belgium-based AJK “design their products for maximum power and manoeuvrability and produce systems that are simple, easy to use and safe.”

Spencer Law, managing director of RVS, said:  “AJK are well-known for providing high quality, versatile, safe and well-designed hook and skip loader systems that have been thoroughly tried and tested in the field. We are proud to represent AJK in the UK and to be able to offer these products directly to our customers.”

AJK’s hook-arm and flat-panel kinematics “enhance drivers’ visibility during loading”. The rams, says the company, are manufactured, calibrated and positioned “to allow operators to work faster, more safely and efficiently”.

AJK says its lift-hook systems for handling containers are available in slide arm and articulated arm versions.

“We have known RVS for years. They are a family-owned business like us, and our companies share the same progressive ethos”

Its skip-loader systems can be used for the horizontal handling of containers, and for transport of sludge, scrap, construction and demolition waste.

Peter Hendriks, Commercial Director, AJK: “We have known RVS for years. They are a family-owned business like us, and our companies share the same progressive ethos as well as a commitment to delivering the very best customer service. They are a good partner for us and well placed to market our products to operators in the UK.”
