A statement released by Taylor described Mr Richards as a valued member of the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management Cymru (Wales) and said that he was renowned for his commitment to customer service excellence across the waste and recycling sector during his ten years at the company.
As a highly respected employee, Taylor added that Mr Richards had developed long-lasting relationships with businesses across Wales and the West.
Mr Richards' funeral took place on Tuesday November 4 at St Lleurwgs Church in his hometown of Hirwaun, Rhondda Cynon Taff, followed by a cremation service at Llwydcoed Crematorium.
He is survived by his wife Beth and children Ieuan and Emily.
