The national recycling campaign Recycle Now has revealed that five million more people in England are recycling their rubbish compared with 18 months ago.
In research published today, the WRAP-managed campaign revealed that 57% of people are now committed recyclers compared to 45% in August 2004.
The research also found that 92% of people regard recycling as important , 69% recycle a lot and only 7% say they do not recycle at all.
