New Earth Solutions Peter Corris dies

His wife, Jackie, was also killed. The couple were touring Scotland on a motorbike when the incident occurred.

Prior to joining New Earth in 2008 Mr Corris had worked with energy firms, including Inetec and Compact Power, on gasification and pyrolysis projects. Before joining the energy sector he served in the Merchant Navy.

A spokeswoman for New Earth Solutions paid tribute to him and said: “His cheerful spirit, technical skills and wisdom, and dedication will be missed by his friends and colleagues at New Earth and throughout the waste management and renewable energy industries.”
